My Protective Style for the week and my henna treatment last weekend
So,my protective style for this week was surely an experiment. But It worked! I parted my hair in half from ear to ear. I put two cornrows going to the middle of my head in the back. Then I parted the front into 3 equal sections. The two side parts were done in four small cornrows each and in the middle I did two flat twist. After I did all of that. I pinned up all the ends in the middle. It is a very cute style and still looks good. I am confident it will last until Sunday coming...maybe even longer. But i have hand in hair syndrome and will have to break out of that slowly. Until then i will stick to weekly styling.
HENNA TREATMENT
Did another one Sunday, this time I only mixed it with water and pure coconut oil. Amazingly, it worked just as well. My hair was shiny and healthy with a rich color when I was done.
I have just two complaints about henna so far. The first is that it takes sooooooo long to wash it out and then after all of that...everytime I scratch my head there is henna particles under my nails up to this day!!! lol. But, I have to say I still love henna.
